Community Supports Program

We all know that life has its challenges and opportunities – and for each individual they are unique. For adults with intellectual disabilities, the availability of the right tools, guidance and support, brings about the opportunity to meet these challenges to the best of their ability.

The Community Supports Program (CSP) offers a wide range of programs and services designed to meet the needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families living in the community. Each individual’s strengths, needs and desires are considered and a menu of training programs are available within the day program or in collaboration with agencies and partners in the community.

Program at a glance:

  • Services are delivered according to each individual’s preferences and choices.
  • We strive to find opportunities of community involvement and integration.
  • We also offer activities for the promotion of an individual’s self-esteem and overall well-being.
  • Individuals enjoy a range of activities including swimming, bowling, cooking, and much more
  • Our new Employment Preparation Program offers individuals job practical skills and experience.
  • Our school system outreach helps families prepare as their loved ones come to adulthood.
